Yobe State University Diploma (2020/2021): Procedures, Price and Closing Date


Applications are invited from qualified candidates for admission into the following diploma programmes for the 2020/2021 academic session:
  1. Two – Year Diploma in Arabic and Islamic Studies (DAIS)
  2. Two – Year Diploma in Social Policy and Administration (DSP)
  3. Two – Year Diploma in Crime Management, Prevention and Control (DCM)
  4. Two – Year Diploma in Environmental Chemistry (Dec)
  5. Two – Year Diploma in Computer Science (DCS)
  6. Two – Year Diploma in Shari’a Law (DSL)
  7. Two – Year Diploma in Civic Law (DCL)
  8. Two – Year Diploma in Natural Resource Management and Control (DNR)

Yobe State University Diploma Admission Requirements 

    1. Candidates must pass three relevant O’level subject at credit level in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS or cognate bodies at not more than two sittings.
    2. At least two credits must be relevant to the course applied for.
    3. Students awaiting results can apply and make up for such results within the period of the programme to be eligible for admission into 200 level degree course of interest.

    Yobe State University Diploma Method of Application and Payment

      1. Make a non-refundable payment of N5,100.00 into Account Name/Number: YSU CONSULTS STUDENT REGISTRATION/0226614491 GT Bank Plc Damaturu Branch and obtains a scratch card for the application.
      2. Sales of scratch cards has started 
      3. Visit Consult ysu.edu.ng and click Diploma Application Under the admission TAB at the home page.

      Admission into 200 Level Course of the University

        1. To qualify for Degree Programme at Yoke State University Damaturu, graduates of our Diploma programmes must remedy their O’level deficiencies.
        2. Candidates are enjoined to do so during the period of the Diploma studies so to obtain the minimum entry requirement for the degree programme of five O’level credits in relevant subjects.
