This is to inform all prospective Corps members that the Management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the date for the commencement of the 2021 Batch ‘A’  Stream II Orientation Course.

Management of the Scheme has scheduled the 2021 Batch ‘A’  Stream II Orientation course to commence on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, Nationwide.

The NYSC 2021 Batch ‘A’  Stream II Orientation Course is scheduled to commence in all the NYSC Orientation Camps as follows:

  • Commencement / Registration – Tuesday, 18th May 2021.
  • The cut-off date for Registration – 12 Midnight, Saturday, 22 May 2021.
  • Swearing-In Ceremony – Monday, 24th May 2021.
  • Closing Ceremony: Tuesday, 7th June 2021.

All Prospective Corps Members must present themselves for the COVID-19 test at the camp before registration.

Prospective Corps members are to fill COVID-19 Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) self reprinting form and print the verification slip to be presented in camp for the COVID-19 test.

All prospective Corps Members slated for the 2021 Batch ‘A’ Stream II Orientation Course are advised to proceed to their respective Camps as stated on their Call-up Letters. Foreign-trained graduates are to report to the camp with their International Passport and original copies of all uploaded documents.

National Diploma (ND) Certificate will be presented in addition to other relevant documents by Prospective Corps Members of Mono / Polytechnic as pre-condition for registration at the Orientation Camps nationwide.

Prospective Corps Members are strongly advised not to present any fake document for registration at the Orientation Camp. Management has put in place adequate machinery to clamp down and prosecute anyone caught.

In the event of any loss of Call-up Letter, the prospective Corps Member who collected the Call-up letter from his / her institution is advised to obtain Police Report and Sworn Affidavit and thereafter report to the institution of graduation for further necessary action. Those who initially printed their Call-up Letters online can re-print the Call-up Letter in the case of loss.

Any person who fails to report for service in the Service Corps as directed in the Call-up Letter and/or refuses to make himself available for service in the Service Corps shall be prosecuted in line with the provisions of Section 13 sub-section 1(a) and (b) of the NYSC Act, Cap. N84, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.

Also, any person who is not eligible to participate in the Service Corps or has been duly issued with a Certificate of National Service or Certificate of Exemption but so participates or attempts to so participate shall be prosecuted in line with Section 13 Subsection 2(a) and (b) of the NYSC Act Cap N84, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.

In observance of COVID-19 protocols, Prospective Corps Members are to strictly abide by all preventive guidelines and use the provisions made on camp for hand washing, etc. Every Prospective Corps Member is therefore expected to come to camp with enough face masks and personal pocket-size hand sanitiser.

YABATECH Change of Course Form for 2020/2021 [UPDATED]

The Yaba College of Technology, YABATECH Change of Course Form for 2020/2021 Session is Out. This is for both ND and  and BSc (Education). The deadline to apply is now 16th May 2021.

This is to inform all candidates who didn’t see their name on the Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) Admission List that they can now purchase the YABATECH Change of Course Form for the 2020/2021 session.

Applicants are advised to also change their course on JAMB portal.

The change of course form is for both National Diploma (ND) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) also called Degree students.

YABATECH Change of Course Eligibility.

  • All B.Sc applicants must have a minimum of 180 UTME score and minimum of 45% aggregate score.
  • Those changing to ND programmes must have 12% CBT score and minimum of 45% aggregate.

YABATECH Change of Course Available Programmes.

Interested candidates are to ensure that they have the requisite requirements for the programme they are changing to as specified in relevant pages of the 2020 JAMB Brochure. Candidates who do not meet the requirements for the new programme will not be considered for admission.

General Entry Requirement for National Diploma (ND) Full-Time and Degree Programme: SSCE (SSCE/NABTEB) with at least 5 credits obtained at not more than two (2) sittings, which must include English, Mathematics and three other relevant subjects from the minimum entry requirements in JAMB Brochure.

How to Apply for YABATECH Change of Course Form

  • Applicants should visit the College website at www.yabatech.edu.ng.
  • Click on the link 2020/2021 “CHANGE OF COURSE FORM”.
  • Put in your UTME Number.
  • Choose change of course to Apply.
  • Tap on Confirm Details & Proceed.
  • Tap on Pay Now.
  • Tap on Make Payment.
  • Please ensure you note Your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number.
  • Choose any payment option (Pay Now with Internet Banking, Pay Now at a Bank Branch, Pay Now with Cards or Wallet).
  • If you choose to use internet banking, choose your bank logo down the page of your Remita page, this is only if you have your hard token with you.
  • If you cannot make the payment online because of you not sure of the process, kindly print out the invoice payment to any bank and make the payment there.
  • Now go to the YABATECH website page where you search for confirmation and validation, put in the Remita number you use in making the payment OR put in your JAMB registration number, then tap on continue.

Candidates having difficulty in payment for registration should visit the College website “click on the live support/Help Desk link on the home page of the website” or Computer Centre (PTDF) behind the School of Art, Design and Printing, for enquires and possible assistance.

Candidates who are interested in changing their programmes are to apply appropriately between now and May 16, 2021.

Candidates should check and ensure that they are qualified for the programme they intended to apply for. Application for a Change of Course does not guarantee admission.

This is to inform all National Diploma (ND) full-time aspirants of Abia State Polytechnic that the school management has released the 2020/2021 admission lists.

As at the time of updating this page, we confirmed that the Abia Poly List is available on JAMB portal. Candidates can follow the procedure below to check their admission status.

How to Check Admission Status on JAMB Portal

Please make sure you are using a google chrome browser!

  1. Go jamb.org.ng/efacility.
  2. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
  3. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
  4. Then click on Admission Status,
  5. You should then click on check admission status or
  6. Click on Access my CAPS.
  7. Select the three doted line at the top right-corner of your browser ( i.e. ⋮) and then tick ‘Desktop site‘. (you can click on the image for better view)
  8. Then click on admission status
  9. You will either see admission in progress check back later, or NOT ADMITTED, or CONGRATULATIONS.
  10. If you see admission in progress, then congrats because you have 99.9% chances of seeing “CONGRATULATIONS…”
  11. If what you saw is Not Admitted, don’t panic yet, the admission is uploaded in batches. Just check back after some days/weeks.
  12. And if you see CONGRATULATIONS… then jump up and dance because you have been offered admission.

How to Check Name on SLU Admission List for 2019/2020 Session.
