How to Apply for UNIABUJA Remedial Programme Admission

  • Visit portal.uniabuja.edu.ng/.
  • Click on “CLICK HERE TO APPLY“
  • On the left pane, click on Remedial
  • Enter the requested details (surname, firstname, othername, email and phone number) and click NEXT
  • On the payment preview page, click on GENERATE RRR
  • Click “MAKE PAYMENT” and you will be redirected to remita platform, enter your card details (Master Card or Visa Card)
  • After a successful payment, you will be redirected back to the portal and application number generated and the portal also sends the same application as SMS to the applicants PHONE NUMBER and you will be logged out.
  • Click on “MAIN LOGIN”, enter the generated application number and surname as password to continue the application process.

Application Fee: Application forms would be purchased at the cost of Ten Thousand Naira (₦10,000) only through REMITA platform. Note that the fee Excludes Bank Charges.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

  • All applicants are required to have a functional e-mail for the purpose of this application through which information can be sent. The Centre also requires an applicant to have a functional GSM number to which text messages (SMS) could be sent.
  • Applicants are expected to check their e-mail and message boxes from time to time for information and update regarding their applications.

This is to inform all prospective candidates for 2020/2021 Admission into IJMBE and Remedial Programmes of the School of Preliminary Studies (SPS), Sule Lamido University (SLU) Kafin Hausa, that the IJMB and Remedial Admission Form is out.

Registration will commence from Monday, 1st March, 2021 to midnight of Wednesday, 31st March, 2021for IJMBE Candidates and Monday, 1st March, 2021 to midnight of Sunday, 14th March, 2021 for Remedial Candidates.

Latest Update: The new deadline to apply for IJMB is now 4th April 2021.

SLU IJMB Admission Eligibility

  • Candidates applying for IJMBE Programme must possess a minimum of five (5) credits in the SSCE, obtained in not more than two sittings, including English Language for Arts students, Mathematics for Science students and either English Language or Mathematics for Social and Management Science students.
  • While those applying for Remedial Studies must have three (3) credits and two (2) passes at O’Level in SSCE in subjects offered in the Remedial Programme. Candidates applying for Remedial Arts should have at least a pass in English Language while those applying for Science should have at least a pass in Mathematics.

How to Apply for SLU IJMB Form

To register, follow the procedures below:

Step 1:

Visit the Sule Lamido University Kafin Hausa website at www.slu.edu.ng, click on admission and select online application or visit admissions.slu.edu.ng direct. Select the programme you are applying for and then click on Apply to create an account by using your email address as your username and a password of your choice.

Step 2

Log in using your email and password to upload your photo and update your profile.

Step 3

Select the programme of your choice such as IJMBE Arts, Science or Social Sciences or Remedial Arts or Science as the case may be, and fill out your O’Level results and subject combination in the case of IJMB Candidates.

Step 4

Generate Payment Invoice or Pay Direct.

Step 5

Make payment of the sum of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only (exclusive of REMITA charges) as IJMBE Screening or Remedial Application Fee via REMITA on the SLU Admission Portal.

Step 6

Generate your Acknowledgement Slip.

Candidates MUST present the originals and photocopies of the following documents during the Screening Exercise.

  1. Acknowledgement Slip.
  2. Evidence of Payment (RRR Receipt)
  3. WAEC, SSCE/NECO Statements of Result or their equivalent.
  4. Two recent passport-sized photographs with white background.
  5. Certificate of Indigeneship.
  6. Birth Certificate or Sworn Declaration of Age.

SLU IJMB Screening Schedule

The Screening Exercise for candidates seeking admission into

  • IJMBE Science Programme will be conducted on Tuesday, 6th April, 2021,
  • While the IJMBE Arts and Social Science applicants will be screened on Wednesday, 7th April, 2021.

All Remedial applicants should know that they are not involved in the screening exercise.

VENUE OF THE SCREENING

All eligible Candidates should report at the University’s Permanent Site, Kano-Jahun Road, Kafin Hausa, Jigawa State by 9:00am each day.

Any candidate who fails to appear for the Screening Exercise on the dates above will not be considered for admission into any of the Programmes for the 2020/2021 Academic Session.

Latest Update: The new deadline to apply for the Basic Studies and Remedial Studies is January 31st 2020 and February 7th, 2020 respectively. Candidates that are yet to register or complete the registration are advised to use this opportunity to do so.

Basic Programmes:

IJMB:

Remedial Programmes:

KASU College of Basic Studies Admission Requirements.

Basic and IJMB Programmes:

  • Candidates must possess 5 O’Level Credit Passes including English and Mathematics, obtained in not more than 2 sittings.

  1. Go to http://forms.kasu.edu.ng/forms/
  2. Click on sign up. Fill the form and click on sign up button to create your account
  3. The portal will automatically take you to your dashboard
  4. Click on available forms from the menu
  5. Select the programme you wish to enroll (Basic, Remedial Studies and IJMB) and click apply
  6. Select your preferred campus and click apply
  7. The form will open. Fill it by updating your necessary information.
  8. Click on payment slip to pay for the form.
  9. After a successful payment. Go back to the form and submit.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • The University will not enter into correspondence with any candidate on its decision.
  • Candidates offered provisional admission will be required to produce the originals of their credentials at the point of registration.
  • Candidates are required to pay the sum of Five Thousand Naira (N5,000.00) as Processing Fee using the payment option provided on the form.

CLOSING DATE: All hard copies of completed application forms should be returned to the office of the Administrative Secretary, College of Basic Studies, Kaduna State University, Kaduna, not later than Friday, 30th October, 2020.

Application Form for Admission into the 16th set of the Remedial Studies Programmes of Gombe State University (GSU) is now on sale.

The Programmes are designed to prepare candidates for admission into the University’s Degree Programmes upon successful completion of one year Remedial and meeting up with the UTME National Cut off Point score.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Candidates who wish to apply must have a minimum of three (3) RELEVANT credits and two passes in WAEC/NECO/NABTEB or Equivalent.

How to Apply for GSU Remedial Admission

Application forms can be accessed online at https://www.dhrd-gsu-edu.com/remedials

  • Click ‘Pay Application Fees’
  • Make payment of N5,000 via Card, Bank Transfer or USSD.
  • After payment is confirmed click ‘Proceed to Form and fill the online application form
  • Check and Confirm all data entered and click ‘Generate Form’.
  • Print the PDF file generated

All completed Online Application Forms should be printed, signed and submitted to the Registrar, Gombe State University, Gombe on or before 9th April, 2021 after attaching photocopies of relevant credentials.
