Touching moment when corps member praised her mum for single-handily raising her

An NYSC member, Iyanuoluwa Adeola, has caused a stir online after a video of her saluting her mother in her NYSC uniform appeared on social media.

On why she did parade for her mum on returning from NYSC camp, the corps member said;

My voice is not shaky because I’m afraid, I’m just too emotional … When your mother singlehandedly raises you, borrows money to send you to school, has sleepless nights praying for you & you eventually become a CORPER… She deserves wayyyyy more than 3 hearty cheers.”

NYSC 2021 Batch 'A' Stream II Online Registration, Guide & Requirements

We are pleased to inform all prospective 2021 Batch ‘A’ Stream II corps members that the NYSC Online registration portal has been opened and will close on 19th April 2021.

Accordingly, all NIGERIAN and FOREIGN TRAINED GRADUATES should register and upload all the required academic, professional credentials (where APPLICABLE) and travel documents.

While registering on-line, all FOREIGN TRAINED GRADUATES should choose any centre convenient for them where their credentials would be physically verified.

After registration, PHYSICAL VERIFICATION of all the credentials uploaded would take place in the centres SELECTED.

Please, note that only PCMs whose credentials are physically verified would be assigned with Call-Up Numbers and subsequently print Call-Up Letters.

It is therefore mandatory for all NIGERIAN FOREIGN TRAINED graduates who register on-line for the 2019 Batch “C” Service Year to be physically present for physical verification of their credentials.

Some Tips to guide PCMs during NYSC Online Registration:

  1. Do not thumb print by proxy. (Nobody should thumbprint for you; thumbprint should be done by you).
  2. Make sure the passport photograph uploaded is very clear.
  3. Do not forget the Username and Password used during your online registration.
  4. Apply for correction of spelling mistakes and rearrangement of names on your dashboard. It is ongoing even after the Orientation Exercise.
