The University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) admission form for 2020/2021 academic session is out. Registration starts 14th September 2020.

Latest Update: The JUPEB registration is still ongoing and will end on 30th April 2021.

The programme leads to the award of JUPEB certificate which enables candidates gain direct Entry Admissions into their respective second year degree programmes in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and other JUPEB – affiliated Universities in Nigeria and abroad..

The programme is expected to last for one academic session (first and second semester). All you need to gain admission into this programme is at least credit pass in your course O’level subject.

Successful candidates after the programme will gain admission into 200 level to study any course of their choice. Candidates are advised to select their correct subject combination else they will be denied admission even if they excel after the final examination.

Eligible candidates must possess minimum of 5 Credits at maximum of two sittings in at least 5 subjects (inclusive of English Language) relevant to the candidates desired course of study in the University

How to Apply for UNN JUPEB Form

  1. Go to UNN Portal via unnportal.unn.edu.ng
  2. Click on Prospective Students and click 2020/2021 “Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board Programme”
  3. Then click on “Generate Invoice
  4. Enter your phone number in the space provided and click signin
  5. Fill the form and click submit to generate invoice;
  6. Proceed to make payment at any bank with your RRR;
  7. Few hours after payment, repeat 1-2 and click on Fill JUPEB Form.
  8. Enter RRR and click submit. 
  9. Finally fill out the form to complete your application.
  10. After registration, please submit your application printout at UNN or UNEC JUPEB Office or send it to [email protected].

UNN JUPEB Admission General Information.

  • Applicants into 2020/2021 preliminary programme are advised to be visiting our website from time to time for updates and other relevant information.
  • All candidates are required to register for 2021 Direct entry UTME during the programme.
  • All candidates are required to use valid e-mail addresses and PERSONAL telephone numbers.
  • The forms must be filled and submitted online either immediately or within two weeks of accessing the website. No downloaded or printed copies of forms will be accepted.
  • Candidates are advised to follow the Application Instructions very carefully and ensure they select the correct SUBJECT COMBINATIONS.

CLOSING DATE

Application will run from 14th September, 2020 and end on 30th April 2021.

UNN JUPEB ENTRANCE EXAM DATE

The 1st batch of the screening exercise/entrance exam is now scheduled to hold on 17th December 2020 while the 2nd screening exercise will hold from18th- 21st January 2021.

Update: You will be informed via sms on your screening date, time and venue.

How do UNN JUPEB Entrance Exam look like

The questions are based on the subject combination you choose during registration. Its a Paper Pencil and within 50-100 questions. Its an objective exam.

What I fail UNN JUPEB Entrance Exam will UNN Admit Me?

Lol. If they will admit people that failed, why then did they conduct exam? Well, the truth is, most times, people don’t fail the entrance exam. So do not fear, record has it that 90% of candidates who writes the exam gains admission.

Is there any guarantee that I will gain admission after doing the JUPEB Programme.

Yes the guarantee is that if you pass (very well), you will definitely be admitted into 200 level (for most programmes). But if you fail, you won’t be admitted/ Hence take your studies serious

The school fees is Two Hundred and Thirty Thousand Naira Only (N230,000.00). Installment payment is NOT accepted.

We are pleased to inform the public that the management of University of Uyo (UNIYO) have started selling the JUPEB (basic studies) admission form. Consequently, applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the non-residential, one-year Basic Studies programme of the University of Uyo for the 2021/2022 academic year.

JAMB/UTME Result is not required for this admission form.

Admission Requirements UNIUYO Basic Studies Form.

Candidates seeking admission into the Basic Studies programme must possess credit passes in at least five (5) subjects at “O” Level, including: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geography, Economics, Literature in English and Government at not more than two sittings in the GCE, SSCE (WAEC/NECO or NABTEB).

At the end of the programme, successful candidates of the JUPEB examination will be admitted into 200 level of the various degree courses in the University of Uyo provided they satisfy the admission criteria for such courses.

NOTE: JAMB Score is not required for admission into this programme. Candidates who took the 2021 JAMB can also apply as there will be no supplementary application for this programme.

How to Apply for UNIUYO JUPEB Admission Form.

Eligible candidates should pay a non-refundable deposit in the sum of N15,500.00 (fifteen thousand five hundred naira) only via Remita Payment Platform.

Online Registration and Payment Instruction

  1. Visit uniuyo.edu.ng/eportals/ or uniuyo.edu.ng (Click on e-portals link)
  2. Select Admission Forms Link
  3. Select e-Form(s) Option
  4. Select Basic Studies as the Admission Form Type
  5. Enter your Phone Number, Name and Email
  6. Click the PAY NOW button to make payment
  7. Payment can be make online or Bank branch
  8. After payment return to the online portal and click on Register Link to complete your registration

Please Take Note of the Following:

  1. The same passport photograph used for the online registration will be used during the screening exercise and for registration after the offer of admission.
  2. No complaint of wrong Bio-Data or blank photograph will be entertained after submission.
  3. Candidates who up-load wrong bio-data will automatically be disqualified.

Candidates are required to come for the screening exercise with the following items:

  1. One (1) copy of the University of Uyo 2018 ONLINE registration form dully completed with the passport-size photograph printed in colour.
    Note: Only colour printout will be accepted.
  2. Two (2) recent passport-size photographs on red background (same photograph as the one used for the on-line registration) with the name and signature of the candidate on the reverse side of the photographs. These should be packaged in quarto- size envelope and labeled with the candidate’s name and the department.
  3. HB pencil, eraser and sharpener.

No GSM handsets, calculators, four-figure tables or any other extraneous materials should be brought into the screening halls.

  3. Click on PAYMENT to make payment via online payment system using VISA or MASTER Card. Note that VERVE Card is not allowed;
  4. After payment, Print Payment Receipt
  5. Click on APPLICATION FORM with your Payment Transaction ID to complete the form.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR UNILAG JUPEB ADMISSION

  • A minimum of FIVE credits (English Language, Mathematics and three relevant subjects) obtained in one sitting at the SSCE/WASSC, GCE/O/L, NECO with results obtained before registration.
  • University of Lagos has zero tolerance for drug abuse, sexual harassment, examination malpractice and other anti-social behavior. All admitted students will undergo compulsory medical test.

HOW TO APPLY FOR UNILAG JUPEB FORM.

TO apply for the UNILAG Foundation/JUPEB programme,

  • Visit the School of Foundation Studies application site on  (www.unilag.edu.ng)
  • On the prospective student’s menu, click on the School of Foundation Studies
  • Go through the information on subject combinations relevant to your proposed choice of course of study for Direct Entry admission. Please note that changes have been made on the previous combinations.
  • Complete the Pre-Application Form to obtain a payment reference number (PRN) using the applicant’s names.
  • Make payment at any Commercial bank in Nigeria with the payment reference number (PRN)
  • Cost of Application Form (including online practice tests (excluding Bank Charges) is N25,000.00 (non-refundable)
  • Make payment at any Commercial bank in Nigeria with the payment reference number (PRN)
  • Return to the applications site on unilag.edu.ng.
  • Log in with PRN as username and applicant’s surname in lowercase as password.
  • Complete the application form and print two copies for yourself.
  • Examination pass will be available online a week before the examination date. Print a copy and bring to the examination venue.

The Application opens on Monday, August 24, 2020 and closes on Friday, October 9, 2020.

UNILAG Foundation Entrance Exam Schedule

  • Dates: Thursday 11th and Friday 12th of March, 2021.
  • Time: 12pm to 3pm each day
  • Venue: Online

Mode of Examination: ONLINE-CBT.

Information on examination link and how to access the online exams will be forwarded to each applicant.

Please note that the examination can be attempted wherever the candidate is and at any time within the 2-day period. However, there is provision for applicants to use the CBT centre at Distance Learning Institute (DLI), University of Lagos, Akoka on the specified dates. The centre will be available from 9a.m. to 12noon each day.

Also note the following:

  • All Questions are Multiple Choice.
  • Examination subjects are: Mathematics, English Language (20 questions each) and 3 other relevant subjects according to candidate’s choice of subject combination (15 questions each), making a total of 85 questions, to be answered in one (1) hour.

Results:- Results and merit admission will be released on the University website.
