This is is to inform the general public that the Zamfara State University (ZAMSUT) Matriculation Form for 2020/2021 Session is now on sale.

Interested candidates can now apply online.

REQUIREMENTS: Only science based candidates with at least five O’level credits (not more than two sittings) including English and Mathematics are eligible to apply.

How to Apply for ZAMSUT Matriclation Form

  • Go to the ZAMSUT Matriculation Application Portal -> http://sis.zamsut.edu.ng/
  • Click on the link “Apply for Matric” at the right hand side of the screen to fill in the form provided and click on the button “Generate invoice” to generate a remita invoice for the payment of matric form.
  • Log in back to sis.zamsut.edu.ng (After the payment) and click on the link “Verify Form Payment” to verify your payment, If the payment is successfully verified you would be required to log in to the portal using the rrr as username and password.
  • Click on applicant and click on the link “Fill Form” to load your BIODATA FORM and Fill-in the form displayed, click on SAVE BIODATA and proceed to SCHOOL/INSTITUTION at the top of the form.
  • Fill-in the form displayed and click on SAVE SCHOOLS, then, Click on NEXT OF KIN/SPONSOR at the top of the form, Fill-in the form and click on SAVE RELATIONS.
  • Click on UPLOAD IMAGE at the top of the form to Select and upload your scanned passport photograph and click on SAVE IMAGE.
  • Click on PRINT MY FORM at the top of the form and finally, Print a copy of the FORM and keep for reference/record purpose.

Zamfara State University (ZAMSUT) Cut-Off Mark for 2020/2021

Zamfara State University (ZAMSUT) Cut-Off Mark for 2020/2021 Session has been released. This is the jamb and departmental.

This is to inform all candidates interested in studying in Zamfara State University (ZAMSUT) that the school management has pegged 160 to 220 as the Cut-Off Mark for 2020/2021 session depending on the course of study.

This page will show you the cut-off mark for ELDS, CATCHMENT AND MERIT.

Note that if you are from any of the Educationally Less Developed States (ELDS) or Catchment States, and reached their cut-off mark but didn’t reach the merit cut-off mark, you will be admitted.

Catchment States simply means states close to ZAMSUT.

According to ZAMSUT;

  • CATCHMENT states includes; Zamfara, Sokoto, Kebbi, Katsina, Kano, Jigawa. Kaduna, Niger
  • ELDS includes; FCT, Bauchi, Gombe, Taraba, Borno, Adamawa, Yobe, Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Bayelsa, Ebonyi, Akwa Ibom, Plateau, and Nasarawa
  • While MERIT STATES includes; Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Ekiti, Lagos, Abia, Anambra, Enugu, Imo, Edo, Delta, Rivers, Cross River

All students are mandated to check the YSU revised academic calendar for 2019/2020 Session.

YSU Post UTME Screening Form for 2020/2021 Academic Session [UPDATED]

YSU Post UTME Form 2020: Yobe State University, YSU Post UTME and Direct ENtry Form for 2020/2021 Session is still Out. Cut-off mark is 160 – 200 depending on the course. See how to apply and other details below.

This is to ifnrom the general public especially prospective students of Yobe State University (YSU) that the Post UTME and Direct Entry Form for 2020/2021 Session is now on sale from 13th July 2020

Though candidates who scored at least 160 are eligible to apply, the cut-off mark is high for some other courses. See the cut-off mark below.

UPDATE: This is to inform the general public that NO PHYSICAL APPEARANCE OF CANDIDATES is required for the screening exercise. The post utme registration is ongoing till further notice.

Candidates Eligible to Apply for YSU Post UTME Form

NOTE: All candidates willing to participate in the screening must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Candidates who applied for programs such as Education Arts, Education Science, Education Social Science, Arabic & Islamic Studies, Sociology & Anthropology and Biological Science should visit JAMB portal to change to appropriate courses as indicated below:
  • Candidates who have not met the required cut-off marks for the programs they chose as their first choice but have the appropriate scores to change to other relevant programs must visit JAMB portal to do so.
  • Candidates must have chosen Yobe State University as their 1st choice and have scored the minimum required cut-off marks for the Departments they applied.
    1. B.A (Ed) Arabic/English/Hausa/History/ Islamic Studies, instead of Education Arts;
    2. B.Sc (Ed) Biology/Chemistry/Mathematics/Physics, instead of Education Science;
    3. B.Sc (Ed) Economics/Geography/Business Education, instead of Social Science Education;
    4. B.A Arabic Studies or Islamic Studies, instead of Arabic and Islamic Studies;
    5. B.Sc Biology instead of Biological Science which is nomenclature of the department, but the program is Biology; and
    6. B.Sc Sociology instead of Sociology & Anthropology.

  • MBBS (Medicine and Surgery) – 210
  • Physiotherapy – 190
  • Human Anatomy and Human Physiology – 180
  • Biochemistry, Geology and Microbiology – 180
  • Biology and Computer Science – 170
  • All other YSU Courses – 160

Yobe State University Post UTME Screening.

Eligible candidates should follow the procedure below to apply:

  • Step 1: Visit ysu.edu.ng/utme/utme2020/login.php
  • Step 2: Click on “Click here to create new Account
  • Step 3: Enter your jamb registration number, email and phone number in the space provided.
    RRR Code will be generated and printed on the screening. You may wish to continue and pay online with your DEBIT/ATM card or download the slip and pay at any bank branch
  • Step 4: After payment, go back to ysu.edu.ng/putme login with your jamb registration number and RRR code.
  • Step 5: You will see the following icons; bio-data, SSCE Result, A-level result, Programme of Study, documents upload and Finalize Application.
    Click on each of the icon and provide relevant information.
  • Step 6: Step 6: Download Acknowledgement slip

Candidates Should Take Note of the Following

  1. Candidates who have not met the required cut-off marks for the programmes they chose as their first choices but have the appropriate scores to change to other relevant programmes must visit JAMB portal to do so. SEE: JAMB Change of Course Form.
  2. All awaiting A’ level and O’ level result not uploaded by candidate during UTME/DE registration must be uploaded to JAMB admission portal for consideration.
  3. Correct and accurate information must be supplied during the post UTME/DE online registration as false claims will render applications invalid while such claimants will be handed over to the appropriate authorities.

Yobe State University (YSU) Revised Academic Calendar for 2019/2020 Session has been released. This is the post-covid-19 calendar.

The management of Yobe State University has released the revised academic calendar for 2019/2020 academic session.

All students are to comply with the new calendar. Below is the breakdown of the updated calendar.

YSU Revised Academic Calendar

FIRST SEMESTER

  • 18 January, 2021 – Completion of First Semester Lectures
  • First Semester Examinations – 8 February, 2021

SECOND SEMESTER

  • Second semester lecture begins, Marking and coltation of first semester results. – 1 March, 2021
  • Second Semester Examinations – 17th May, 2021
  • Marking and collation of results – 7th June, 2021
  • External Examination/Moderation and consideration of results at Departmental, GST, Faculty and Senate levels. – 28th June, 2021
  • Inter-sessional break and admission of new candidates for the new session – 7th June, 2021
  • Resumption Date for 2020/2021 – To begin immediately after the second-semester break.

Please Note: All staff, students, and the general public must ensure compliance to all the Covid-19 protocols and guidelines, as no student, staff or visitor would be allowed into the University premises, classrooms, lecture theatres, or staff offices, etc. without wearing a face mask.
