I got a WhatsApp message that Npower registration has opened that interested applicants can opt into the scheme now as the federal government is set to employ a new set of 500,000 youth.

The message was as posted below.

Latest Npower Application Adverts in Circulation

The N-Power site is now open for the graduate employment scheme. 500,000 participants needed.

REQUIREMENTS are:

BVN
Bank Account Details
Degree, HND, ND, HEALTHTECH, NCE, and SSCE certificate
NYSC discharge certificate (for graduates)
NYSC Number (for the severed graduates)
CV
Passport photographs
Active e-mail address.

Is it Real or a Scam that Npower Has Started a new Application?

It’s real.

Npower is set to disengage the exiting beneficiaries by June and July ending respectively. Details here!

Consequently, the scheme is opening the application portal (which will be made available on this port) by June 26, 2020.

It’s unclear, to date, what the qualifications will be. But we’re already familiar with what the scheme usually accepts. The former beneficiaries included SSC, NCE, ND, HealthTech, RN/RM, HND, and BSC holders.

Each qualification may be subjected to different categories of Npower programs – N-Teach, N-Agro, N-Health, N-Tech, N-Tax, N-Build, etc.

Who Can Apply for 2020 Npower Jobs

As for the required qualifications and criteria, here are the basic requirements to be qualified for Npower application.

applicants must be currently unemployed
applicants must be between 18 – 35 years of age
applicants must desire lifelong skills to become solutions providers in your community

What is the Npower Website to Use For the Application

Yes, www.npower.gov.ng is the official Npower website to apply. But if you visit the website now, the form is not yet opened. This means the webpage is not yet made active for applicants to access and apply on.

When Are We to Expect the Website to Open?

Expect the form to open June 26 as already announced by the support team.
